Software as a Service

The Future of Live Video Transmission

At GlobalM, we recognise the growing demand for broadcasters, sports organisations, and media companies to deliver high-quality, real-time video content to global audiences. Traditional broadcasting infrastructure can be costly and complex, requiring expensive leased lines, satellite uplinks, and dedicated hardware. Our hosted Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solution provides a modern alternative, offering a scalable, cost-effective, and highly reliable platform for seamless live video transmission over the public internet.

Our cloud-based network management system (NMS) empowers broadcasters and rights holders to self-provision and transmit live video efficiently, without the need for cumbersome hardware setups. Designed with flexibility and reliability in mind, GlobalM integrates seamlessly into existing workflows, providing a streamlined solution that meets the demands of both small-scale productions and major international events. By leveraging cutting-edge cloud technology, we ensure broadcast-grade performance with ultra-low latency, allowing organisations to focus on delivering exceptional content to their audiences.

A key advantage of our SaaS solution is its ability to adapt dynamically to different broadcasting needs. Whether streaming a local event or a global tournament, our platform scales effortlessly, ensuring robust, uninterrupted transmission. With built-in transcoding and remuxing, we optimise video streams for any network environment, supporting both NVIDIA CUDA (NVENC/DeepStream) acceleration and software-based processing. This ensures content delivery remains smooth and efficient, regardless of bandwidth constraints,

GlobalM Network Management System (NMS)

Reliability is at the core of GlobalM’s technology. Our platform has been engineered to perform in even the most challenging network conditions, minimising disruptions and ensuring continuous broadcast availability. For added efficiency, we offer seamless integration with Scoopa, allowing live transmission recordings to be stored automatically. By pairing a Scoopa API key, recordings happen simultaneously during the live stream, eliminating the need for time-consuming local recordings and manual uploads.

For organisations requiring deeper workflow integration, GlobalM provides two powerful REST-based APIs. The Booking System API enables broadcasters to integrate their existing scheduling and booking systems, streamlining live transmission workflows. The Codec API offers advanced control over encoding and decoding settings, allowing users to adjust frame rates, bitrates, and sample rates with precision. These APIs ensure that GlobalM’s platform can be tailored to fit the exact needs of any newsroom or production environment.
